of professional experience at global, regional, and
national levels with both national and international
individuals and organisations. He has managed complex
humanitarian operations in Africa, Europe and Asia.
His capacity building approach brings
a deep understanding of, and personal commitment
to, the humanitarian issues facing today’s
practitioners and organizations.
Since 1999 Jan has established a network
of trainers to strengthen capacity building. He
is specialised in building capacity, professional
facilitation and humanitarian training for development
and humanitarian organization and Governments. Since
then he has worked in over 20 countries in three
continents for a wide ranging portfolio of national,
international, governmental, non-governmental and
inter-governmental organizations.
