This 2 days training is design for complex
problems related to strategy development, peace and
reconciliation. Its stimulate participant on how it’s
possible to approach problems and problem solving.
The training is in a workshop format and involves
participants in an agreed plan to follow up.
Community Psychosocial Service Facilitation
Problems related to poor humanitarian situation may
be addressed in a local setting. In many cases the
affected population has solutions to their own problems.
This 3 days workshop on how to mobilize communities
in Psychosocial Service is designed for humanitarian
and social workers. Participant is involved in production
of useful checklist and guidance on how to establish
structures for psychosocial service.
Do no harm Training
These 3 days workshops focus on how humanitarian
workers improve awareness on what is connecting communities
together. The training is designed for management
and operational staff in how we avoid to do harm in
implementation of humanitarian assistance. Recommended
for humanitarians working in conflict areas.
Facilitation and Coaching
Jan facilitate individual coaching, meetings
and workshops on thematic areas: Conflict Resolution,
Gender Based Violence, organizational Development
and Management Development.
Sessions involves people on different
level and links the individual challenge with organizational
goals. An individual time table and follow up program
is design.
Planning and Evaluations
- P&M Facilitation
Planning and Evaluation systems in
humanitarian response are crucial for quality implementation.
This 3 days training in P&M focuses on methods
and practice from case studies. The goal is to make
the humanitarian worker aware of the importance of
P&M and for participants to develop their own
tools for their organization, department of unit.
Organisations may tailor-made their own
P&M system as part of policy and strategies.
Camp Management Training
5 days intensive training on Camp Management. The
training is design to cover camp management agencies,
camp management and camp management teams. It focuses
on the fulfilling of the fundamental right of displaced
people. The training focus on practical toolkit and
on how to implement a collaborative approach. The
toolkit addresses the technical, administrative, and
social aspect of camp management. Relevant to countries
with refugee and IDP`s situation.
