Transparency, accountability and quality in programming and emergency response are vital for professional humanitarian workers. Jan is committed to contribute with his MA in management and more than 20 years of humanitarian experience.

He speaks fluently Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English, and enjoys working and living in multicultural environments.

Currently he is based in Sri Lanka with his wife Mona and two daughters Hannah and Sigrid. Working with capacity building on consulting basis for UN system, International and local NGOs.

As humanitarian worker for the past 20 years Jan brings simple solutions to complex problems coupled with a deep understanding of and personal commitment to humanitarian issue.
